Freeland Art Club

Freeland Art Club meets on Wednesdays throughout the year at the Methodist Chapel from 10.00am – 12.30pm. 

There are around 18 members of all abilities.  Most meetings are untutored, but once a month members tackle a Challenge together, aiming to try something new.  So far Challenges have included Chinese Brush Painting, Collage and Still Life. 

Occasionally we have a professional demonstrator, and from time to time we organise visits to exhibitions or to paint out of doors.  Some members also lunch together on the 1st Wednesday of each month.

There is a £10 Joining Fee and then members pay £3 each time they attend a session.  Tea and coffee are provided.  New members are welcome (though space is limited) and in the first instance they should contact Helen on 01993 881905.  It is possible to attend twice as a visitor before joining
